Theme park design based on the Lost Wonder Temple of Artemis, created with teammate Yasmine Baratova. I was the team leader and did the story writing, visual development and illustrations of the project. Yasmine did the fashion design, graphic design and the writing of the presentation.
Through out history, many different civilizations occupied the lands the Temple of Artemis stands on. The one thing that connects these civilizations is that they all kept a version of Goddess Artemis, and her temple was rebuilt again and again by each new occupant, in a new style. We thought this was a wonderful opportunity to create a park that would both celebrate the diversity of world cultures and reminds us of our shared roots.
Journey in Artemision starts at the modern day excavation site that reveals the Passage of Time ride. Guests join animated boats from different times in history who are all lost in Passage of Time due to Timequakes, and their journey through time brings them to the Living Temple, where different versions of the Temple of Artemis coexist together.
You can see the key scenes from The Passage of Time dark ride below.
